Who we are
How we use your data
Paladin Locksmiths uses your personal data:
- to provide goods and services to you;
- to enable us to manage customer service interactions with you; and
- where we have a legal right or duty to use or disclose your information (for example in relation to an investigation by a public authority or in a legal dispute).
How we protect your data
All electronic data collected by us is maintained in dedicated software which is regularly updated and password protected. Passwords are changed frequently and all IT systems which access data run anti-virus software with up to date virus definitions. Any paper based records such as carbon copies of invoices are kept under lock and key in our business premises which are not open to the public.
Types of data we collect
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.
When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Lawful basis for processing data
We collect and use personal data only when it is necessary for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps at the request of customers prior to entering into a contract.
Access to personal information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. To arrange this then please contact us using the details below.
If you agree, we will try to deal with your request informally, for example by providing you with the specific information you need over the telephone.
How long do we keep your data?
We will not retain your data for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. Different retention periods apply for different types of data, however the longest we will normally hold any personal data is 6 years.
